Hi, 6F!

I'm so sorry that we couldn't (= não pudemos) start our CALL Lessons today! What a disappointment!!! (= Que dedilusão!!!)

Not my fault (= culpa)! I tested all the computers on Friday morning and everything was working fine.

However (= no entanto), on Friday afternoon there were (= houve) problems with the Internet connection and there were problems again this morning. No connection in the students' computers. Only in mine, but... with problems!!

Well, I showed you in class what I prepared, didn't I? And I told you (= disse-vos) that I recorded the instructions at 11:00 pm last night, didn't I? My idea was for you to listen and read the instructions.

I will try and find an alternative way for this situation. I hope to have good news later this week.

See you all in class tomorrow! Don't despair! (= Não desesperem!)

Subject: blog updated  :-)

Hi, Ana Luísa and Rodrigo!

I finally had time to update (= actualizar) the blog.

Ana, now you can send pictures of your other cats. I promise to upload faster this time.  ;-)

Surprise! CALL lessons start next Monday for you. At 10:30! Yeess!!!

Hope to have a message from you two. Can one of you summarize what we did in class this week? And also what we have done since the beginning of the second term? Something very simple, ok? Thank you!

Have a nice weekend!

Hugs from your English teacher

Hi, kids!

I have been very busy (= tenho estado muito ocupada) with the online training for teachers (= formação de professores na Internet), Becoming a Webhead, and I am paying less (= menos) attention to our page. But today I was able to upload (put in our blog) the photo of Ana Luisa's cat, Matias. Click on the thumbnail (little photo below, on the left) and you will see him better.  :-)

Last week Bettina Makara, a colleague from Buenos Aires, Argentina, sent me a message about our blog. Please read the 22Jan05 messages.

Next week we finally start our CALL Lessons! Yeeeessss!!! 6F is on Mondays at 10:30 and 6G is on Thursdays at 12:10 in Sala TIC. These lessons will be every two weeks. Are you happy??!!

Have a great weekend!

Thank you for your sweet message! It's always encouraging to get comments.  :-)
I love the blog and my 'kids', as I like to call my students, also love it. Pity that there are times when the message flow is so slow...
