What a great session!
As usual, Bee had a
very nice
and informative
presentation, pleasantly complemented by her
clear comments.
Though there were
technical glitches on her side, with a couple of unavoidable log offs, the session went through as planned. As I commented
during the presentation, these glitches show us a reality of
the online world where everything isn't always "a sea of
roses". They help us see the relevance of feeling comfortable
with the tools before using them with students (although there
will always be someone among them who is more than willing to
lend a hand, and we should accept it in a natural way!).
And they show us how important it is to stay calm and
think rationally about what to do to try and solve the situation.
Of course, if there is an Andy Pincon around with his fabulous technical expertise,
then it's a godsend!
Thank you, Bee, for sharing your
know-how and professional experience with us.
A very inspiring session, indeed! Thank you
also,
Andy and Debby from Alado, for
being there from the very first minute to
guide and help our participants, and for
the immediate link of the recording of the session, which allows those not able to be
present to share this synchronous event. And thanks to all of you who took
part in our second live voice event
direct from Sao Paulo, Brazil, to the rest of the world!!!
A curiosity: There were participants
from all the 5 continents!
