how to enroll

1. Go to http://coursesites.blackboard.com

2. Click on CREATE ACCOUNT (on the left)

3. Enter name, email, user name and password

4. Click Submit

5. From the BB main page, click on the COURSES tab (at the top)

6. Enter "Webhead" in the SEARCH COURSES box (top left)

7. When it (eventually) finds the Webhead course, click ENROLL (underneath the course title on the right)

8. Enter the Access Code: webhead (case sensitive) and Submit

9. Click OK

The account you have created is a STUDENT ACCOUNT.

 

how to log in as an instructor

1. Click Logout (top toolbar)

2. Click Login

3. Enter User name: Webhead and Password: webhead (NB - it's case sensitive)

4. Click Webheads in the Module List page

5. Ignore the next page (asking you to pay lots of money) and click Continue to access the course.

You can now access the Control Panel and create forums in the Discussion Board.

 

how to add an instructor profile

1. Click on Control Panel (left frame, bottom)

2. Click on Staff Information under CONTENT AREAS

3. Click on Add Profile button

4. Enter the information you wish

5. Click Submit

6. Check your entries

7. Click OK

It is always possible to Modify or Remove your profile.

 

how to add a course document

1. Click on Control Panel (left frame, bottom)

2. Click on Course Documents under CONTENT AREAS

3. Click the Add Item button

4. Enter relevant information

5. Click Submit

6. Check your entries

7. Click OK

It is always possible to Modify or Remove your profile.

 

how to create blackboard documents

You may want to build some of your course material directly in BB without having to know any HTML.You can:

1. Type your document

2. Copy and Paste your document from existing text

3. Attach documents that can be donwloaded by students (even Power Point presentations).

How? Click the Course Information button and then on the Creating BB Documents link.
